Unblocking Comments

Been hearing from various people that they wished they could comment, but don't have a blogger account.  Today when someone else said it, we decided to take the block off the commenting for now.

So for the next little bit at least, anyone can comment.  We will try and see if we get a lot of trolls or spam, and if we do, we will be putting the block back on to only allow people with blogger accounts to comment.

Hopefully it will allow those of you that like to lurk a chance to share as well and still be anonymous. :)

  1. Hey EsMay...I changed back so anonymous comments could be left also. If you start getting too many trolls or spam but still want to allow anonymous comments, just turn on moderation...that's what I plan to do. I had moderation on before my surgery but didn't want to mess with it while I was going through therapy. LOL

    1. I might have to do that, Cat. :) I hope I can avoid it though, as that can be a pain in the bottom, and the Duke already makes sure I have those quite often enough! ;)

  2. Hi EsMay, I wouldn't know how to turn anything off! I just see what happens. I have never had any nasty comments, just a couple of odd ones that I thought were a bit pervy so I deleted them! Hope it is alright for you.

  3. Hi Es May, fortunately, I have not as yet been visited by trolls and the amount of spam I receive is manageable. I agree with Cat, if it becomes a problem again, try moderation.

  4. Thank you, EsMay. I thought of you this morning, because I had a spanking that was... well, things aren't always cut and dried. I could have made a good case for why it wasn't justified, but I understood why my Man thought it was and I accepted it. Whether or not his reasons were exactly fair, it was a good role affirmation for us, and I felt good and looked after all day. How blessed are we to have husbands who are willing to step up and lead and take charge of things for us. So many men won't!

    1. Oh, Angela, I love that you felt good and looked after the rest of the day. I love those feelings after a role affirmation. :) And yes, we are truly blessed. :)

  5. Hi EsMay, I think if I ever feel like commenting anonymously, I'll just glue a black moustache onto my screen :-)
I did not even know that you can do all these things in a blog. I am a typical case of slow learner

Please feel free to leave any comments, but I do ask you to be kind. We go into this with eyes wide open after months of prayer, and a peace in our hearts that this is the right choice before God for our marriage. I am open to questions from those who wonder why we made this choice, but I would ask for no personal attacks. Thank you. :)

Troll comments and spam will be deleted.
